After traveling all over the country and even into Canada and Colombia, South America for regionals, I was off to Los Angeles once again for the final of the 2012 Games. This year shocked us all when it was announced that a surprise fourth day of competition was taking place. And it would take place on Marine base Camp Pendleton. My colleague, Nicole Bedard and I were briefed and on our way the next morning at o' dark thirty for a great adventure! Then it was back to the Home Depot Center for the remaining three days of competition. This was, by far, the most fun I've ever had shooting the Games. Here is the story in pictures.
